Abstract

The design basis of Kinmen Tashan power plant simulator is founded on the eight diesel engines with total capacity of 64,000 watts.

The scope includes eight Diesel Engines and Generator System, Electric System, Cooling Water System, Sea Water System, Air Systems, Lube Oil System, Fuel System and control panels. The overall Kinmen electrical power network is also simulated to respond the generator output and loading, frequency and voltage, load sharing for low frequency. In addition, the training scenarios are implemented according to the Operation Procedure, Fault and Event Log and Emergency Operation Procedure.
